The SEC only produced 7 first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Don’t expect that to be the case again this time next year. In fact, the SEC’s record of 15 first-round picks, set back in 2020, could fall in the 2027 NFL Draft.

On Thursday, ESPN analyst Jordan Reid released his early projections for Round 1 of the 2027 NFL Draft, and he had an incredible 19 SEC stars hearing their names called in the first 32 picks.

The Texas Longhorns dominated, producing the No. 1 overall pick, 2 top-5 picks and 4 top-11 picks. Check out all the SEC guys mentioned in Reid’s projections below:

  • No. 1 — Arch Manning, QB, Texas — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 5 — Cam Coleman, WR, Texas — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 6 — Trevor Goosby, OL, Texas — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 7 — Jordan Seaton, OL, LSU — Tennessee Titans
  • No. 9 — Dylan Stewart, Edge, South Carolina — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 10 — Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia — New York Giants
  • No. 11 — Colin Simmons, Edge, Texas — Washington Commanders
  • No. 12 — David Stone, DL, Oklahoma — New York Jets
  • No. 17 — Zabien Brown, CB, Alabama — New York Jets
  • No. 18 — Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 19 — Trey’Dez Green, TE, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 21 — Cayden Green, OL, Mizzou — Detroit Lions
  • No. 22 — Kewan Lacy, RB, Ole Miss — Houston Texans
  • No. 24 — Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 28 — Quincy Rhodes Jr., Edge, Arkansas — Kansas City Chiefs
  • No. 29 — Ahmad Hardy, RB, Mizzou — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 30 — Yhonzae Pierre, Edge, Alabama — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 31 — Ryan Coleman-Williams, WR, Alabama — Buffalo Bills

For those keeping score at home, that’s 10 of the 16 SEC teams producing a Round 1 pick in this mock. The only teams without a player listed are Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M.
