College GameDay is headed to the SEC in Week 8. ESPN’s traveling pregame show is going to Athens for the highly anticipated showdown between Georgia and Ole Miss.
In Week 7, both teams were in the top 10 of the AP Poll and picked up victories. No. 4 Ole Miss was heavily favored against Washington State, but only narrowly escaped with a 24-21 win. No. 10 Georgia overcame a double-digit deficit at Auburn to extend its streak in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry, winning 20-10.
GameDay’s announcement notes that Saturday’s show will feature a live performance by recording artists Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs.

Saturday will be GameDay‘s first visit to Athens this season. The traveling pregame show last came to Georgia campus in 2024 for the Tennessee game, a UGA victory. This time, Lee Corso won’t be part of the show, having retired after making a final pick in Week 1.
Host Rece Davis will be joined at the desk by Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit. Other contributors, including Jess Sims, Pete Thamel and Stanford Steve, also appear live on the show.
