This pick does go against the latest college football betting lines. Most sportsbooks like bet365 have Georgia as a 3.5-point favorite as of publication.
Georgia has enjoyed a solid start to the season boasting a 2-0 record. However, given its opponents in weeks 1 and 2, their undefeated status is to be expected. Now is a transition to SEC play on the road, questions loom about their offensive capabilities. While they’ve gotten the job done so far, their attack lacks the explosive fire power that could give Tennessee an advantage.
Meanwhile, Tennessee also stands strong at 2-0 after comfortably defeating ACC opponent Syracuse and dominating East Tennessee State with an impressive 72 points laid down last week. Despite some notable injuries within their roster, it appears that quarterback Joey Aguilar is as-advertised with 5 touchdowns and over 500 yards in just 2 games.
