ESPN’s FPI predicts outcome of Texas A&M vs. Arizona State game

Saturday will be a special day at Kyle Field. Texas A&M hosts Arizona State in its Red, White, and Blue Game as it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
This will be the third Red, White and Blue Game for the Aggies and the first since 2021, the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Historically, Texas A&M and Arizona State have met just once, a game that the Aggies won 38-17 in Houston in 2015.
As far as this one is concerned, ESPN’s FPI has Texas A&M as an overwhelming favorite to beat Arizona State on Saturday. The Aggies have been given an 88.6 percent chance of victory against the Sun Devils.
The Aggies opened their 2026 season with a straightforward 50-0 win over Missouri State in Week 1. Marcel Reed threw for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Rueben Owens ran for 77 yards on 17 carries. A&M’s defense held the Bears to just 67 yards of total offense.
Meanwhile, the Sun Devils stormed past Morgan State 70-7 to start off their 2026 slate. Former Kentucky quarterback Cutter Boley was sensational, completing 21 of his 27 passes for 387 yards while adding six touchdowns. Arizona State outgained Morgan State 681-188.
