ESPN’s Joey Galloway released his first top-five rankings of the 2025 season following Week 3, and it’s a mix of the expected and a little shakeup.

Topping the list is Ohio State, followed by Georgia and Tennessee. Miami checks in at No. 4 after another dominant performance in Week 3, while Texas A&M rounds out the top five after a thriller against Notre Dame.

Galloway’s list reflects a combination of undefeated records, quality wins, and overall team depth. And while his rankings may differ from the latest AP Top 25, there’s a lot to like about each of the teams he mentioned.

Ohio State remains the standard, but Tennessee’s strong start in the SEC and Texas A&M’s road win over a ranked Irish squad can’t be ignored. Miami keeps riding momentum, and Georgia remains a force.

As the season unfolds, all eyes will be on these programs to see if they can maintain consistency, avoid injuries, and make a push for the College Football Playoff. Galloway’s Week 3 top five shows the landscape of college football is already shaping up, with a few teams making early statements while others will need to climb to catch up.
