The Crimson Tide have dominated this series in recent years, though LSU will enter Saturday as a favorite in the college football prediction markets.

Both Alabama and LSU have suffered 2 losses apiece this season. A third defeat wouldn’t completely rule out either team from making the College Football Playoff, though it would make the path significantly more uncertain.

Alabama seems to be in significantly better shape with regards to its CFP hopes entering this game. Alabama is No. 5 in the initial CFP selection committee rankings while LSU sits at No. 14.

Since the 2011-12 National Championship Game when these teams squared off, LSU has only defeated Alabama twice โ€” once in 2019 and then again in 2022.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
