The Mississippi State Bulldogs and LSU Tigers enter their Week 7 matchup both coming off losses, and that makes the game even more pivotal when it comes to staying in contention in the SEC, as well as the College Football Playoff.
For the Tigers (4-2, 1-2), it is especially pivotal as they already have two losses in SEC play. The Bulldogs (4-1, 2-1) are coming off a loss to Alabma in Week 5, and will be looking to get back on the winning track.
ESPNโs Bill Connelly believes the Tigers are going to get a huge bounce-back win against the Bulldogs on Saturday. His SP+ projection is that the Tigers will win this game by 12 points, with a score of 35-23.

The 58 combined points scored in this game are definitely intriguing, as Kalshi currently has the over/under at 57.5. One key thing to look at is the status of Kamario Taylor, who left the Alabama game with an injury. He is currently listed as questionable. The Tigers started as an 11.5-point favorite, but his status has pushed the number to 15.5.
The Tigers and Bulldogs kick off at 12 p.m. E.T. on Saturday afternoon.
