ESPN’s SP+ has been making predictions throughout the 2026 season, and there are many big games in Week 6 to make picks on. One of those matchups is South Carolina against Florida, as the Gators look to bounce back from their 45-17 loss to Missouri in Week 5.

ESPN’s SP+ has made the prediction for the game, and it sees the Gators winning the game 34-26.

The Gamcocks got big news on Friday, as star defensive player Dylan Stewart will be playing in this game. He was suspended for the game against Kentucky last week, but coach Shane Beamer has reinstated Stewart for this game. The Gamecocks have lost three straight games and speculation about Beamer’s job security has increased in recent weeks.

The Gators were the talk of the football world two weeks ago, but the loss to Missouri calmed the hype train down a little bit. Still, what the Gators have accomplished in the first five weeks of the season under coach Jon Sumrall is extremely impressive.

Jadan Baugh was held to only 13 yards on 12 carries last week, and getting their superstar running back on track is at the top of the list for Florida on Saturday.
