Fresh off their massive 45-17 upset win over the Florida Gators, the No. 14 Missouri Tigers are now set to welcome the Texas A&M Aggies to Columbia for a noon kickoff between 2 extremely talented SEC squads.

Things haven’t gone the way anybody in College Station hoped they would for the Aggies over the first 5 weeks of the new campaign, but they still have plenty of firepower on both sides of the ball that could give the Tigers fits, especially if they are still riding the high from that huge win against a top-10 Gators team.

In anticipation of what could be a very interesting showdown this Saturday, ESPN analyst Bill Connelly officially released his SP+ projection for how things will shake out between A&M and Mizzou.

The SP+ is a predictive formula created by Connelly that uses a range of statistics and factors to project the outcomes of all the biggest games from week to week.

For this Saturday’s clash between the Aggies and the Tigers, Connelly’s model projects a comfortable 31-21 win for Mizzou, which aligns with what many other analysts and predictions are expecting.

Games aren’t played on paper, though, and Mike Elko‘s Texas A&M squad still possesses more than enough weapons to pull off a much-needed upset. As such, Eli Drinkwitz and the rest of the Tigers will have to come out swinging to avoid the same kind of letdown they inflicted on Florida last weekend.
