NFL teams made further roster cuts on Friday, and in the case of the Cleveland Browns, those cuts included former Kentucky defensive back J.D. Harmon, according to multiple reports including CBS Cleveland.

Harmon signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in May after the former walk-on earned a scholarship at Kentucky. He appeared in 49 games for the Wildcats largely as a backup corner back and on special teams, and finished with seven career interceptions. Two of them came in the 2016 loss to Southern Miss.

Harmon may be most remembered for a poem he wrote to fans as he departed from Kentucky.
