Fans lay into College GameDay for Ted Cruz interview: ‘Ted, you suck!’

ESPN’s College GameDay is in Austin on Saturday ahead of the massive showdown between No. 1 Ohio State and host No. 4 Texas. The Longhorns are looking to exact revenge after falling 14-7 to the Buckeyes in Columbus last season.
College GameDay frequently brings on guests with local ties. However, typically those segments are not met with the home crowd vehemently booing. But that’s what happened when Rece Davis interviewed Ted Cruz, the US senator from Texas.
The conversation went on for roughly 10 minutes and touched on a variety of college football hot button topics as the crowd voiced their displeasure, even chanting “Ted, you suck!”

One thing all Texas fans can agree on is the hope that the Longhorns can knock off the Buckeyes. Ohio State at Texas is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on ABC.
