Fans react to Georgia’s white uniforms making Week 2 debut

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are taking on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in Week 2, and they are doing so in an all-white look that has never been seen before in the history of the program.

Georgia has used white pants and white helmets for recruiting purposes for much of head coach Kirby Smart’s tenure, but fans have been clamoring to see the icy look in action during an actual game for years.

Smart and his staff heard these calls and made a deal with Dawg fans in the offseason: if the program’s main NIL collective, “Glory Glory,” reached a certain number of new signups, he would let his players rock all white at some point during the season. Fans held up their end of the bargain, and Smart kept his word.

The team officially unveiled the all-white look in early August and told fans to mark Week 2 on their calendars as Georgia’s first “White Out” in Sanford Stadium history.

After several long weeks of anticipation, Smart and the Bulldogs finally took the field in all-white on Saturday afternoon, leading to fans sharing their reactions to the new look on X:
