Fans react to stellar defensive first half from Tennessee against Kentucky

Tennessee defensive back Doneiko Slaughter just delivered the hit of the Vols’ season on Kentucky wide receiver Barion Brown, knocking the ball out of his hands and into the hands of linebacker Juwan Mitchell.
The Vols have played stellar defense against Kentucky in the first half Saturday evening. Tennessee leads 27-6 heading into the halftime break, making life difficult for future projected 1st-round pick Will Levis.
So far, it’s the best Tennessee’s unit has played this season. If they are truly turning a corner, that’s a scary sight for the rest of the nation. The No. 1 offense in the nation is enough of a problem to handle.
Fans reacted to Tennessee’s hot start Saturday on social media.
In a season full of great plays, that may have been the best play made by Tennessee’s defense this year

The Tennessee defense has its issues but they will straight up wreck you and won’t feel bad about it. Weirdly a fun group.
