Florida HC Jon Sumrall ‘loves pedicures,’ wife reveals

First-year Florida head coach Jon Sumrall has established himself as a “football guy.” Gator fans have appreciated Sumrall’s energy and intensity when talking about the team as he nears his UF debut in September.
Sumrall may not be amused with something his wife shared about his off-field habits. Speaking to Olivia Eisenhauer of WCJB TV20 at Florida’s Ladies Night event, Ginny Sumrall revealed this weekend that the Florida coach enjoys getting pedicures.
“He loves pedicures,” Ginny Sumrall told Eisenhauer. “That’s his favorite extra thing to do. Every two weeks in the football season, Jon loves to get a pedicure. That’s just a fun little happy about him.”

It’s safe to assume that the social media teams of many Florida opponents have made note of Sumrall’s love of pedicures for potential postgame trolling. Year 1 for Sumrall, though, should start off with a win. The Gators host Florida Atlantic to kick off the 2026 campaign.
