The fun puns and jabs will go on forever, it seems.

The Florida Gators were the latest ones to throw shade in a fun back-and-forth war of words with LSU. This time, the Gators spit back at LSU on Twitter after the Tigers’ spring game was moved to the indoor practice facility due to weather.

Since the Florida-LSU game was postponed in Gainesville and moved to Tiger Stadium last fall due to Hurricane Matthew, fans have been going back and forth, too. We’ve seen it twice, even during baseball season (here and here).

According to a records request, LSU AD Joe Alleva said in emails that Florida was scared to play the Tigers.

Despite being heavily criticized and a double-digit underdog, Florida won the game 16-10 on a spectacular goal line stand and clinched the SEC East title.

Because of the cancellation, LSU agreed to play the 2017 game in Gainesville, which was originally scheduled to be played in Baton Rouge. LSU will also return to Florida in 2018 as the normal schedule rotation resumes.

Is it college football season yet?
