Fans mock Florida baseball after canceling in-progress rain game
Florida’s baseball team apparently found a clever way to avoid a loss in Tuesday’s game against Stetson. Down 10-1 at home in the fifth inning before a lightning delay occurred, the game was suspended due to the weather. Following a long break, Florida decided not to resume or reschedule the game — effectively making the game’s events up to that point null and void.
These two tweets are from the official Stetson twitter account:
We are now in a lightning delay here in Gainesville with Stetson leading Florida 10-1 in the top of the fifth. Game is not yet official.

Florida has decided not to resume tonight's game and has refused to agree upon a day to continue. The game effectively did not happen.

This, of course, made several fans point back to the infamous rescheduling of the LSU football game last season.

Do these fans have a point, or are they just upset that LSU choked on the field against Florida in Death Valley?
