Paul Finebaum has seen his fair share of coaching changes in the SEC, and he understands the dynamics at play between the rival schools, and recruiting footprints.

So when the jobs at Florida and LSU come open at the same time, some of the same candidates may be appealing to both schools. So which job is better.

“LSU,” Finebaum said on the ESPN College Football Podcast. “The talent pool is much better, you own your own state – Nick Saban has made a living down there, but you can put some borders up – and you’re not fighting FSU and Miami. The fact that Mike Norvell might have the ascending program in that state is even more surprising.”

Among the names already discussed for both jobs include the likes of Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, and Louisiana coach Billy Napier. However, other names that could be in the mix are Penn State’s James Franklin, Cincinnati’s Luke Fickell, Iowa State’s Matt Campbell, Baylor’s Dave Aranda and Oregon’s Mario Cristobal.
