Florida State jumps out in front of Alabama with dominant first-drive td

Florida State was able to beat Alabama last year, 31-17, in a game that shocked many around the country. That was at home, though, and the rematch was in Week 3, as the Seminoles traveled to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide.
The Seminoles were looking to bounce back from a tough loss to SMU, and on the first drive, Mike Norvell and his team once again threw the punch against the Crimson Tide.
Quarterback Ashton Daniels led an outstanding first drive as the Seminoles went 7 plays for 72 yards, and Daniels capped the drive off by hitting Duce Robinson for a 20-yard touchdown. The Seminoles had a nice balance of run and pass on the drive, as Daniels threw for 35 yards, while the Seminoles rushed for 37.
Norvell has a lot of pressure on him, but the response by the Seminoles to start the game showed that the team is still locked in and staying together.
Theere is still a lot of time in the game, but the Seminoles did exactly what they needed to do early.
