It’s been a rough year for the Florida State Seminoles, who have watched their star quarterback go down in Week 1 and lost their coach to Texas A&M.
However, they kept their impressive bowl streak alive and will take on Southern Miss in the Independence Bowl on Wednesday.
Though Southern Miss is a non-Power 5 team, the Seminoles haven’t fared very well against any bowl teams this year, failing to cover the spread in all eight of those matchups:
Florida St failed to cover the spread in all eight of its games against bowl teams this season. The Seminoles are 15-point favorites over Southern Miss in today's Independence Bowl.

The Seminoles are 15-point favorites on Wednesday, but based on how the FSU offense has played this season, it’ll be tough for them to cover the two-touchdown spread.
The Independence Bowl kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
