One of the best wide receivers in the 2026 transfer portal cycle has chosen his new home, as former Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton is reportedly headed to Texas A&M.

On3 reported Sunday that Horton chose the Aggies after making a visit to College Station. A 6-foot-4, 208-pound target, Horton has one season of eligibility remaining.

Horton played a single season for Alabama, making 11 starts over 15 games in 2025 and notching 42 receptions for 511 yards with a team-high eight touchdowns. Horton had previously spent three seasons at Miami, totaling 70 catches for 790 yards and six touchdowns from 2022-24.

Texas A&M considered wide receiver a priority in the portal, as KC Concepcion declared for the 2026 NFL Draft last month and promising reserve Izaiah Williams entered the portal and moved to Kansas State. Horton now becomes a prime target tor Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed, who threw for 3,169 yards and 25 touchdowns against 12 interceptions in 2025.

Texas A&M has now landed 14 players out of the transfer portal to help make up for the 12 the Aggies lost to the portal. The Aggies went 11-2 in 2025, winning 11 straight to rise to No. 3 in the country before falling 27-17 to Texas in the season finale and then tumbling 10-3 to Miami in a first-round College Football Playoff game.
