Former Arkansas OL Zuri Madison entered the transfer portal after only 1 year with the Razorbacks. He was a 3-star recruit out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Now, he’s officially on the move. Per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247Sports, Madison’s agency has confirmed his next destination.
Madison won’t be moving far, as he’s staying in-state and has committed to play for Arkansas State in 2025, giving the Red Wolves a 6-3, 305-pound lineman:
Duke, Kentucky, Illinois, West Virginia and other schools were involved in the recruitment of Madison coming out of high school, but he chose Sam Pittman and the Hogs instead.
As you can see by the time between the 2 social media posts above, Madison wasn’t in the portal long. He originally entered back on April 22 and is now with a new school in early May.
Will he find a bigger role with Arkansas State? We’ll see what happens this coming season. Arkansas State plays at Arkansas this year, on Saturday, Sept. 6, at War Memorial Stadium.
