After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, former Arkansas OL Dan Skipper spent most of the summer with the Dallas Cowboys.
Now, though, he’s landed on a new team, as the Detroit Lions have decided to add him to the mix.
According to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein, Skipper will be added to the team’s practice squad following the decision to waive OT Storm Norton:

During his Arkansas career, Skipper was a second-team All-SEC lineman in 2015 and followed that up with first-team honors as a senior in 2016.
At 6-10 and 315 pounds, Skipper is a beast of a lineman and certainly has the physical assets needed to succeed in the NFL.
Whether or not he gets a chance on the active roster in Detroit remains to be seen, but at least he’s found a new team to play with as the 2017 season goes on.
