Former Arkansas QB Brandon Allen will likely find himself on a new NFL team during the 2022 season.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Allen was among 3 players cut by the Cincinnati Bengals after the team claimed 3 other players on waivers.
As you can see below, Allen, S Michael J. Thomas and HB Trayveon Williams were the players taken off the Bengals’ 53-man roster to make room for the waiver wire additions:
After claiming three players on waivers today, the Bengals terminated the contracts of veteran QB Brandon Allen and veteran S Michael J. Thomas. They also waived HB Trayveon Williams.

Allen was a sixth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Broncos and Bengals during his NFL career.
Where will he end up next? That remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Cincinnati has come to an end.
