Former Florida defensive end Jonathan Greenard has been placed on injured reserve by the Houston Texans after he injured his calf, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

That’s a tough loss for the team on the pass rush, though it’s temporary as he is expected to be back within the next 4-6 weeks.

So far this season, Greenard totals 9 tackles (4 solo) and 1.5 sacks. The Texans are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders up next on the schedule on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. CT as they look to build upon last week’s 13-6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
