Last week, Lynn Bowden Jr. signed his rookie contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. As the NFL Draft’s No. 80 pick overall, Bowden signed a rookie contract with around $4.7 million, including a signing bonus of around $900,000.

This week, he’s already paid back his mother and bought her a new car: Mercedes CLA 250. Bowden’s mother shared photos on social media of her new ride (below).

Bowden had a ridiculous junior season that saw him rush for nearly 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns while playing quarterback for the Wildcats. When Terry Wilson went down with a season-ending injury early in the year, Bowden stepped up his game and became Kentucky’s do-it-all, and teams couldn’t stop it. In fact, he made defenses look silly.

It wouldn’t surprise us to see the Raiders use Bowden in multiple positions to maximize his impact.
