Class of 2027 offensive lineman Tristan Dare is trading one ‘M’ for another.
On Tuesday, Dare announced that he will play for coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers. Dare was committed to Michigan from August of 2025 to March of this year and took an official visit to Columbia on Friday, June 5.

Dare hails from Southlake, Texas and attends Southlake Carroll HS, where he plays primarily as SCHS’s right tackle due to his 6-foot-3, 290-pound frame competing at the high school level. According to 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks, Dare best projects along the interior of the offensive line, perhaps at center.
Dare chose the Tigers over several high-level offers, including Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Florida and Texas Tech. He’s considered to be the No. 844 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 54 interior offensive lineman and the No. 111 prospect out of the Lone Star State.
This commitment is the 14th of the cycle for Drinkwitz and Co, and Dare is the 3rd offensive lineman of the bunch. He joins 4-star OT Lual Aleu and 3-star OT Jack Marquard.
Ethan Stone is a Tennessee graduate and loves all things college football and college basketball. Firm believer in fouling while up 3.
