Former Mississippi State WR Geor’quarius Spivey announces transfer destination

A little more than two weeks after he entered the transfer portal, former Mississippi State WR Geor’quarius Spivey has announced his commitment to a new school.
Spivey wrote on social media that he has committed to Arizona State.
“Add two zeros to the one, I’m in a different mood… Yo what’s good Arizona,” he wrote.
Spivey is coming off a season in which he made three starts and appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs. Last season, he caught 11 passes and had 121 receiving yards. Both figures were career highs for Spivey, but he was also ninth on the team in receiving.

2020 (Sophomore Season)
Awards: Earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Season: Appeared in all 11 games with three starts.
Vanderbilt (11/7): Drew the start … Made one reception for minus-1 yards. at Georgia (11/21): Caught one pass for six yards. at Ole Miss (11/28): Caught five passes for 97 yards … The five grabs equaled his career total entering the game … Four catches and 92 yards came on the final two drives of the game … Three of his five grabs went for first downs.
