The 2020 NFL Draft is expected to go on as scheduled at the end of April, and Auburn DT Derrick Brown will likely be one of the first defensive linemen off the board.
Former NFL executive Gil Brandt, who is now a draft analyst, certainly thinks Brown is at the top of his class.
As you can see below, Brandt names Brown and Iowa OL Tristan Wirfs as his 2 favorite interior linemen in the draft class:
My favorite is Brown of Auburn (defense) and Wirfs of Iowa (offense) https://t.co/5zMFxbSzE3

Brown had 54 tackles (11.5 for a loss) and 4 sacks for Auburn’s defense in 2019. He was one of the most dominant defenders in the entire SEC.
The first round of the 2020 draft will take place on April 23. We’ll find out then how long Brown has to wait to be picked.
