Former Ole Miss offensive lineman Greg Little has been traded to the Miami Dolphins in a deal that sent the Carolina Panthers a 2022 seventh-round draft pick.

The 2019 second-round pick did not fit into the Panthers’ plans, and while he had slipped down the depth chart, there was also no guarantee he would make the roster anyway, the Panthers team site reported.

The former All-SEC first team selection helped anchor an Ole Miss offensive line that finished the season ranked fifth in the country in yards passing per game (346.4).

The previous brain trust in Carolina traded up to position in order to take Little and gave away their 47th and 77th picks to the Seattle Seahawks in the process, Panthers Wire reported, and added that the 6-foot-5, 310-pounder has been slowed by injury and underwhelming play. He has appeared in just 14 of a possible 32 games, with 6 combined starts.
