Leonard Fournette might still be working on that rookie contract, but he’s still spreading the wealth.

And in a good way.

The former LSU star and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back recently weighed in on a dilemma that an LSU senior shared on Twitter. The fifth-year student needed a total of $10,000 to pay for tuition and she had already raised $5,000 on a GoFundMe page.

It was Fournette to the rescue for the remaining $5,000:

The student wasn’t a stranger to Fournette. Fifth-year LSU senior Jhane Lowsoo worked with the LSU athletic training staff during Fournette’s career. That’s what prompted him to want to help out.

“We both from New Orleans, Jhane and I,” Fournette told a local news station. “She took care of me when I needed massages. (She) helped me take of the little things, take care of my body. She’s from my hometown. And I feel like, why not, give back to where I’m from. I feel like everybody needs that chance.”

That’s an awfully kind gesture from Fournette. It continued the trend of former LSU running backs giving back.

Recently, former LSU star Derrius Guice helped raise $15,000 in 2 days after visiting the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Louisiana.

That’s not a bad way for a couple of promising NFL tailbacks to spend the offseason.
