Details of the 2020 college football season are still up in the air, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to dominate headlines.

As positive results continue to grow in several SEC states, a lot is still not known about how many fans (if any) will be able to attend games in 2020.

On Tuesday, Georgia AD Greg McGarity said in a letter to donors that the school is taking its time weighing options and hopes to announce plans for attendance, tailgating and more in August:

Yes, this makes it more difficult for fans further away from Athens to make plans, but since it is only June, taking as much time as possible also makes sense.

Things can change quickly during a pandemic, as we’ve already seen, so we’ll have to wait until August, it seems, for Georgia’s 2020 plans.
