Georgia football added a 2028 commitment out of the Volunteer State on Monday with a pledge from 4-star offensive tackle Koehn Dial. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound O-lineman “couldn’t wait any longer” to announce his commitment to Georgia, according to Rivals Monday night.

Here’s Dial’s commitment post:

Dial hails from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, which is located just south of Nashville. Georgia was one of the first Power 4 programs to offer Dial, doing so in June of 2024. Dial chose the Bulldogs over other high-value offers from Tennessee, LSU, Kentucky, Ohio State and Oklahoma, to name a few.

The standout offensive tackle is the 4th player to commit to Georgia in the 2028 cycle, joining 4-star QB Jayden Wade, 4-star safety Nick Carroll and 4-star TE Asa Wall. It’s still very early, of course, but Georgia’s 2028 class currently ranks No. 3 in the country behind only Ohio State and Alabama.

Dial is considered to be the No. 174 overall prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also ranked the No. 19 offensive tackle and the No. 9 player from the state of Tennessee.
