Georgia and Austin Peay will kick off an hour earlier on Saturday.

UGA has announced that Saturday’s game against Austin Peay is now scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. ET instead of 3:30 p.m. ET due to anticipated weather later in the day.

No. 4 Georgia is coming off a 45-7 win over the Marshall Thundering Herd in Week 1. Kirby Smart‘s Bulldogs are seeking to get in a pre-SEC tuneup before traveling to No. 22 Tennessee in Week 3 to begin conference play. UGA will then receive a bye week before the highly anticipated Week 5 showdown with No. 21 Alabama in Athens.

As for Saturday’s game against Austin Peay, the Governors also enter the game 1-0. ESPN’s Football Power Index expects Georgia to remain undefeated, giving the Bulldogs a 99% chance to win on Saturday. The game is set to be streamed on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
