After a very challenging past few weeks, the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs have a bit of a breather on deck today against the Charlotte 49ers at home between the hedges of Sanford Stadium.
This will be the first time the Dawgs have faced off against their American Conference foes, and it will serve as a tune-up game for next week’s massive Black Friday showdown against No. 16 Georgia Tech in Mercedes Benz Stadium.
In anticipation of their penultimate game of the regular season, Georgia unveiled who they will be rolling with as team captains and Saturday afternoon against the the 49ers on their official X account.
The Dawgs will be rolling with senior offensive lineman Micah Morris, junior defensive lineman Christen Miller, Sophomore defensive back KJ Bolden, and senior running back Cash Jones as their team captains for Week 13.
Both Miller and Morris have been stalwarts in the trenches for Georgia all season long, with Miller in particular anchoring what’s been one of the top run defenses in all of college football in 2025.
Bolden has continued to come into his own in his second season in the Georgia secondary, currently boasting 50 total tackles, 2 interceptions, and 2 pass break ups on the year.
Lastly, Jones has continued to be a steady presence for Mike Bobo’s offense, coming up with big plays in key moments all season long, most notably being the onside kick recovery last week against Texas.
