Georgia beats out 3 SEC foes to land 4-star in-state DB

Adryan Cole was set on playing in the SEC. On Saturday, he revealed that he plans to stay home.
Cole is one of the top defensive backs in the state of Georgia. He announced that he has verbally committed to play for Kirby Smart‘s Georgia program.
Out of Douglas County (Georgia) High School, Cole is listed as measuring 6-2 and 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Cole is rated 4-stars, the No. 12 safety, No. 15 player in Georgia and No. 166 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

It’s no secret that many programs recruit the Peach State. Cole has picked up 45 scholarship offers during his recruitment. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Mizzou, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M are among the schools that showed interest.
Cole took visits to Georgia, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss in May and June. Those were his 4 finalists for Saturday’s announcement, with UGA winning out.
