As Georgia prepares for its last regular-season game against rival Georgia Tech on Saturday, the Bulldogs are waiting to hear if they’ll have a few players in the lineup.

One of the key players on Georgia’s defense, LB Natrez Patrick, has missed the last couple of games, but coach Kirby Smart said he thinks Patrick could make his return against the Yellow Jackets, according to DawgNation.com:

“He’s been really close for the last couple weeks. We hope he’s ready,” head coach Kirby Smart said at his Monday news conference. “But we’ll know more (later) today.”

DT DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle is also in the mix to return after missing three games with a sprained ankle.

OL Isaiah Wynn, who sprained his knee, could see action after injuring his knee against Louisiana-Lafayette.

The Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets will kick off at Sanford Stadium at noon Eastern time on Saturday. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
