Georgia has been dominant on both sides of the ball all season long, as they have proven to be the most complete team in the country through five weeks. That continued in a big way on Saturday, as the Bulldogs were in control effectively the entire day in a 38-14 victory over Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt didn’t have any success running the ball, finishing with 85 yards on 26 carries. Outside of a 60-yard pass from Blaze Berlowitz to Junior Sherrill, the Commodores couldn’t find a ton of success in the passing game either.

As good as the defense was, Gunner Stockton once again led an incredibly efficient offensive performance, finishing 25-of-32 for 295 yards and 3 touchdowns. His favorite target on the day was Dwight Phillips Jr., who finished with five catches for 75 yards and one touchdown. The Bulldogs were equally as impressive running the ball, finishing with 34 carries for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

For the Bulldogs, it would have been easy to look past Vanderbilt on Saturday, but Kirby Smart‘s team was locked in from the very beginning. The Bulldogs now sit at 5-0 and will take their undefeated record to Tuscaloosa next week to face an Alabama team coming off a 56-23 thrashing of Mississippi State.
