Georgia names captains for Week 4 game against Oklahoma

Georgia has named its captains for its Week 4 game against Oklahoma at Sanford Stadium.
Leading the list is Gunner Stockton, who will be looking to extend what’s been a hot start for the Bulldogs’ offense. Through three games, Stockton has thrown for 583 yards, nine touchdowns, and zero interceptions. In Week 3 against Arkansas, he had seven carries for 97 yards.
Stockton will be lined up behind Drew Bobo, the other offensive captain. The center, a preseason All-SEC first-team selection, serves as one of the anchors of an offensive line that has given up just three sacks this season.
Quintavious Johnson joins Chris Cole as defensive captains. Johnson, who had 2.0 sacks and 6.0 tackles for a loss in 2025, has 1.5 tackles for a loss so far in 2026. Cole enters Saturday with 2.0 TFLs and half a sack.
Georgia comes into Week 4 sitting at 539.0 yards per game, the fourth-highest average in the country. Its 59.3 points per game lead FBS, while it is top 20 in rushing yards. Defensively, it has allowed an average of 45.7 rushing yards, tied for second in the country. It’s also in the top 25 nationally in points allowed per game (13.3).
Kickoff between the hedges is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
