Georgia opens as favorite over Texas in massive SEC top 10 contest

Georgia and Texas will be the biggest game on the Week 12 schedule.
Georgia, winners of 5 straight, is very much in line for a College Football Playoff at-large berth. The Bulldogs are also looking to stay in the hunt for a SEC Championship Game berth.
Texas has won 4 games in a row after a loss to Florida. The Longhorns have climbed into the mix for a Playoff spot of their own with just weeks remaining in the regular season
The Bulldogs and Longhorns are now set to meet at Sanford Stadium in Week 12 with both teams ranked in the top 10 of both the coaches’ poll and AP poll. According to Circa Sports’ opening lines released on Sunday, the Bulldogs are a 5-point favorite.
Georgia had little trouble with Mississippi State on Saturday, taking a 24-7 lead into the locker room before coming away with a 41-21 win. Gunner Stockton threw for 3 touchdowns while Nate Frazier took 12 carries for 181 yards and a score.
Texas, meanwhile, was off during Week 11. The Longhorns haven’t played since Nov. 1, a 34-31 win over Vanderbilt in Austin.
Kickoff from Sanford Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ABC.
