Georgia and Ole Miss both have a ton of momentum, a head of steam, as they barrel toward their Week 10 clash in Oxford.
It’ll happen on Saturday night, in primetime, when the 2nd-ranked Bulldogs and 12th-ranked Rebels kick it off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Simply put, this will be one of the biggest games of the season in the SEC, with Georgia (7-1, 5-1 SEC) trying to push forward after taking apart Florida in Week 9 while Ole Miss (6-2, 4-2 SEC) tries to do the same thing after blowing out Auburn in Week 9.
That 45-15 victory over the Tigers took place in Oxford, and the Rebels will stay home this Saturday to play arguably their biggest game of the season. A win over the No. 2 team in the country will put Ole Miss in position for a shot at the SEC title and a place in the College Football Playoff.
A loss? That will likely end any of those hopes, since it would be the Rebels’ third defeat of the season. It’ll be the ultimate pressure cooker for Ole Miss — and Georgia — and when Sunday’s opening lines for Week 10 were released by Circa Sports, it was the road team getting the early love in this matchup.
Georgia was installed as a 3.5-point favorite over Ole Miss in the Rebels’ house, with the opening over-under total being 56.5 points.
Here is that opening line along with all of the Week 10 early lines that were revealed on Sunday:
