Georgia replaces Eric Zeier as radio color analyst

Georgia football will feature a new voice in the radio booth this season as former Bulldog QB Eric Zeier is no longer the color analyst.
Per Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, the Georgia media guide now lists former UGA offensive lineman Josh Brock as the color analyst joining play-by-play voice Scott Howard in the radio booth. Weiszer obtained the new Georgia football media guide ahead of SEC Media Days, which begin Monday in Atlanta.
Zeier, 52, played quarterback at Georgia from 1991-94. He was the SEC Freshman of the Year in 1991 and a first-team All-American in 1994.
In 2007, Zeier made his debut on Georgia radio broadcasts, initially contributing to road games before becoming the full-time color analyst. Weiszer noted that Zeier was not part of the radio broadcast for this year’s G-Day spring game.
Brock played guard for Georgia from 2002-05, helping the Bulldogs win a pair of SEC championships. UGA fans have heard him on the Bulldogs Live call-in show and Dawg Talk postgame show.
Rounding out the Georgia radio lineup, former UGA QB DJ Shockley is back for a fifth season as sideline reporter.
Georgia opens the 2025 season at home against Marshall on Aug. 30.
