Georgia will be without a key part of its offensive firepower on Saturday night against Alabama, with starting wideout Isiah Canion being listed as out on Friday night’s SEC injury report after previously being considered questionable for the primetime matchup (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Canion had missed the previous 2 games for the Bulldogs with a leg injury, but he entered Week 6 being listed as questionable, so there was some hope that the junior could return in arguably Georgia‘s most important game of the regular season.

But apparently Canion wasn’t recovered enough to return on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, and he will miss a 3rd straight game. Canion has 3 catches for 28 yards this season, and his last catch was registered back in Week 2 against Western Kentucky. He hasn’t played since the first quarter of Georgia’s victory at Arkansas in Week 3, exiting the game during the first series with a bone bruise in his right knee.

Canion was listed as questionable on the first 2 injury reports this week, but on Friday night he was joined by 5 other Bulldog players who are also listed as out for the Alabama mega matchup.

Joining Canion as out for the Bama game on Friday night’s injury report were fellow wideout Thomas Blackshear, tailback Chauncey Bowens, outside linebacker Amaris Williams, defensive back Tyriq Green and offensive lineman Marcus Harrison.

With Canion not being available for Georgia on Saturday night, the task for the Bulldogs got a little harder. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about Georgia’s chances to overcome Canion’s absence and prevail in primetime in Tuscaloosa:
