The Georgia Bulldogs controlled things from start to finish in Fayetteville on Saturday afternoon, posting 464 yards of offense in their 45-17 triumph over the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Quarterback Gunner Stockton continued his stellar start to the season, completing 76.9% of his passes (10/13) for 147 yards and one touchdown. His scoring toss was a 61-yard connection with freshman wide receiver Craig Dandridge.
The Bulldogs piled up 254 yards on the ground against the Razorbacks. Their 6.0 yards per carry allowed them to dictate game flow and dominate time of possession, holding an 11-minute edge (35:40 to 24:20) in that area. Stockton, courtesy of a 62-yard run, led all players in rushing yards, while running back Chauncey Bowens found paydirt three times.
Arkansas posted 300 yards vs. Georgia. Half those yards (150) came on the Razorbacks’ final two drives. The Bulldogs’ defense snuffed out Arkansas’ rushing attack, allowing just 17 yards on 20 carries.
Georgia (3-0, 1-0 SEC) hosts No. 24 Oklahoma next weekend. Brent Venables’ Sooners are the first top-25 foe Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs will face in 2026. Arkansas (1-2, 0-1 SEC) rounds out its non-conference schedule vs. Tulsa in Week 4.
Kickoff between Georgia and Oklahoma is Saturday, Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Razorbacks and Golden Hurricane face off later the same night (8:00 p.m. ET, SEC Network+).
