Georgia will look to make it back-to-back wins on Saturday when it travels to Ole Miss. An offensive player will be making the trip with them for his first action since Week 3.

After being listed as probable on the initial availability report on Wednesday, wide receiver Isiah Canion wasn’t on Thursday’s updated report. He’ll be in line to play for the first time since suffering an injury against Arkansas on Sept. 19.

This is Canion’s first season with Georgia after the Warner Robins, Ga., native spent a pair of seasons at Georgia Tech. As a freshman, he played in 10 games and made six catches for 83 yards. In 2025, he increased his production to 33 catches, 480 yards, and four touchdowns through 12 games.

It’s been a bit of a slow start to Canion’s Georgia career as he saw limited action over the first few weeks. While a leg injury has kept him off the field for the past five games, he appears ready to return for Georgia’s stretch run in November as it looks to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Canion will look to emerge as a target for Gunner Stockton in the final month of the regular season and beyond. The Bulldogs QB has thrown for 1,671 yards and four touchdowns.
