The Georgia offense was in need of some explosive plays last week against Tennessee, and UGA wide receiver Zachariah Branch provided just that. He took a screen pass to the house and clocked in at 21.4 mph, earning him a spot in the top 5 fastest players of Week 3, according to Reel Analytics.

The Bulldogs traveled to Neyland Stadium to take on the Vols in a top-15 rivalry matchup. After falling behind 21-7, the Bulldogs were driving down the field and capped it off with a 35-yard touchdown to Branch. During the play, Branch hit a top speed of 21.4 mph, making him the 4th fastest player of the week. It took Branch just 4.8 seconds to reach this top speed.

This touchdown helped spark a 20-0 run from the Bulldogs.

Branch has always been known for his speed and explosive play potential. As a recruit, Branch was ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 5 player in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. He committed to play at USC, where he spent his last two years before transferring to Georgia this season.

Branch has been solid for the Bulldogs this season. Through 3 games, he has hauled in 11 receptions for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns.
