One of the most highly anticipated games this weekend will be No. 3 Texas A&M at No. 22 Missouri. Undefeated Texas A&M has reeled off 8 straight wins, while Missouri will aim to notch its first victory vs. a ranked opponent this season.
ESPN’s Greg McElroy expects it to be a close contest in the SEC showdown. During the most recent edition of his Always College Football show, McElroy explains why Texas A&M will win but Missouri will also cover the spread.

“I think this is going to be a really low-scoring game. I fully expect Missouri’s defense to battle. I think they’ll hold down the fort and I think they’ll make it a 1-possession game in the fourth quarter. So expecting low scoring here but ultimately it’s Texas A&M and their defensive line that will prevail,” McElroy said. “I like the Aggies but close. I would take the points in what should be a very entertaining football game between 2 really well-coached football teams.”
Texas A&M had a bye last weekend after defeating host LSU 49-25. Meanwhile, Missouri also had a bye after losing 17-10 at then-No. 10 Vanderbilt.
Texas A&M at Missouri is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff (ABC).
