For the second time this season, a ranked matchup between the hedges will highlight Saturday’s slate.

Lane Kiffin‘s undefeated Ole Miss Rebels will venture to Athens looking to make it two wins in a row over Kirby Smart‘s Georgia side this weekend, with SEC and College Football Playoff implications abound.

Ahead of the marquee matchup, ESPN’s Greg McElroy took to his show ‘Always College Football’ to do his weekly predictions, and he believes that the Dawgs will win and cover as a 7.5 favorite.

“I love what I’ve seen so far from Georgia at stopping the run, and I also think they are an improving bunch on the perimeter. I don’t think they’re elite in the secondary, but they’re getting better,” McElroy said. “I think Ole Miss could become a little one-dimensional, and I think that Georgia will be able to run the football and create some matchup advantages with their wide receivers on some downfield throws.”

McElroy also delved into his concerns about how Trinidad Chambliss will handle his first hostile SEC road environment, as Chambliss has only started games within the comfy confines of Oxford.

“He’s been unbelievable through the first four starts, but this will be his first on the road,” McElroy said. “This is a different beast from an environment standpoint. I think he’s got the head to do it, but if he gets popped a couple times early, will that have a bit of an effect on him?”

The Rebels and Bulldogs will kick off at 3:30 EST, with the game being broadcast by ABC.
