Gunner Stockton hits Craig Dandridge with long TD strike as Georgia extends lead over Arkansas

Gunner Stockton may not be racking up the yards for Georgia against Arkansas, but the Bulldogs have been barely challenged by the Razorbacks during both teams’ SEC opener in Fayetteville during Week 3.
Through three quarters and the first few minutes of the fourth, Stockton had thrown the ball just 12 times, completing nine passes for 86 yards as the Bulldogs had focused on a heavy rushing attack. But with 12:42 remaining in regulation, the Georgia quarterback took his opportunity to stretch the field and make a big Georgia lead even bigger.

The Bulldogs have dominated on both sides of the ball, stifling the Arkansas running attack while recording well over 200 yards on the ground themselves. They’re well on their way to a 3-0 mark as Kirby Smart will improve to 11-0 in conference openers on the road.
As for the Razorbacks, they’ll drop to 1-2 and lose their 12th straight game in SEC play. Ryan Silverfield had hoped to turn the fortunes of a struggling Arkansas program. For now, though, there still looks to be a massive gulf between the Razorbacks and the top teams in the conference that shows no sign of closing anytime soon.
