The Auburn Tigers are off to the Elite Eight, where they’ll take on SEC rival Kentucky on Sunday in Kansas City.

Bruce Pearl’s squad is the talk of the town, and football coach Gus Malzahn is loving the run his school’s basketball team is on.

In fact, after the Tigers’ Saturday scrimmage, Malzahn revealed that he was heading up to KC for the game, saying he thinks this year’s Auburn team has something special going on:

The Tigers will be without breakout star Chuma Okeke, who tore his ACL against North Carolina on Friday night. They’re also 0-2 against Kentucky this year.

However, we’ve learned during this 11-game Auburn winning streak that the Tigers can never be counted out. Tune in to TBS at 2:20 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday to see if the Tigers can make it 12 wins in a row.
