Halloween decorations in North Carolina roast Bill Belichick

To call Bill Belichick’s start at North Carolina disappointing may be an understatement. The Tar Heels are losing to Power 4 opponents by an average of 29 points per game this year. They’ve looked so bad that some could say Belichick is a shell of his former self. Unsurprisingly, some already have.
With Halloween on the horizon, one home in North Carolina decided to poke fun at the team’s horrifying start with decorations of Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson.
Social media users, naturally, treated the decorations like Halloween candy: they couldn’t stop eating them up. This yard followed up an even more intricate Belichick/Hudson design that Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy shared yesterday.
Belichick likely doesn’t appreciate the slander that these displays throw his way, but he’s probably taking it in stride. He’s known to appreciate a quality Halloween party. Back in 2009, he and his ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday, attended a New England Patriots Halloween event, hosted by Randy Moss, at a roller rink.
For now, Belichick needs a win to ensure he’ll still be the Tar Heels’ head coach when Halloween gets here. The first-year UNC coach recently called reports of an early exit “categorically false,” but his team is 2-3 with some ugly early losses.
North Carolina faces Cal on Friday night (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
